Is this cheating?
No. Tako doesn't lie for you or invent a persona. It looks at what the other person actually wrote or showed on their profile, and suggests a way to reply that fits THEM — not a generic template.
Our favorite analogy: Tako is the friend who proofreads your text before you hit send. Except available 24/7.
Are my conversations stored?
The text of conversations you import is stored in our database (encrypted at rest, hosted in the EU) for as long as you want — delete them anytime from your account.
Your screenshots, however, are NEVER stored — they go to Claude (Anthropic) for OCR extraction and are discarded immediately. Retention: 0 seconds.

Why not just ChatGPT?
Three things generic ChatGPT won't do:
- OCR straight from your screenshot — paste your Tinder / Hinge / Bumble capture, the conversation is extracted for you. No retyping.
- Prompts specialized per platform and per profile — a Tinder text doesn't work like a professional LinkedIn message. Tako adapts.

Which AI model do you use?
